The “church”

“The church” is not THE CHURCH. “The church” today is almost without exception a group of professed believers.

THE CHURCH is a local collection of believers coming together to worship and entreat the Lord, led by (at least) two Sons of God: MEN who have been born again of the Spirit by the putting to death of the flesh, releasing them from bondage to sin. Mere water baptism in the name of Jesus for remission of sin, or more problematically “Christian baptism,” is not sufficient to make Sons of God.

THE CHURCH will be evidenced by supernaturally changed lives – and driving away the pretenders and spiritually resistant. It will be evidenced by the common occurrence of the supernatural – healings, tongues (not only glossolalia), and discipline – leading to sickness or even death of pretenders.

THE CHURCH will be in instant fellowship with others all over the world.

“The church” today is overcome by the spirit of antichrist, and does not keep the TRUE Sabbath because it does not know or teach the Gospel, nor does it baptize in the name – i.e. immerse in proper knowledge – of the Father, Son, OR Holy Ghost.

Because “orthodox” Christian belief denies the ability of the believer to have a new nature – the sinless nature and life of Jesus – they truly deny that Jesus came in the flesh – flesh like ours. More can be said about being born of the Spirit later.

Because “the church” doesn’t teach the Spirit imparting this new nature and giving MEN imparted, actual freedom from bondage to sin, they truly do not observe (experience) or teach the observance of the TRUE Sabbath (as opposed to the symbol).

Because “the church” quenches the Spirit by arrogating to itself (by rites of men) baptism of the Spirit, and they do not teach men the freedom from bondage which Christ gives through the Spirit, they CANNOT teach MEN the true Gospel (one can’t give what one does not possess) nor can the Spirit flow THROUGH the MEN – TO the congregation – to sanctify them.
